A/C and heating repair in Twin Falls
A/C recharges, leak repair and heater fixes for European and domestic vehicles, before the next Magic Valley summer or winter.

Comfortable all year
A/C that blows warm usually means a leak, and heat that never warms up usually points to the cooling system. Neither one fixes itself.
We test system pressures, check for leaks and look at the compressor, condenser, cooling fans, blend doors and blower before we recharge or replace anything. Recharging a system that leaks only buys a few weeks of cold air.
No heat often traces back to a stuck thermostat, low coolant or a clogged heater core, so we check those first. You get a VHR, our Vehicle Health Report, and a written quote before any work starts.
Signs it's time to bring it in
These are the usual causes. We confirm which one it is before we quote anything.
| What you notice | What it usually is |
|---|---|
| A/C blows warm | Low refrigerant from a leak, or a failed compressor. |
| Cold only some of the time | A failing compressor clutch, cooling fan or pressure sensor. |
| Weak airflow from the vents | A clogged cabin air filter or a failing blower motor. |
| Musty smell | Moisture and buildup on the evaporator, or an old cabin filter. |
| Water on the passenger floor | A clogged evaporator drain. |
| No heat, or slow to warm up | A thermostat stuck open, low coolant or a clogged heater core. |
| Fan works on some speeds only | A failed blower motor resistor. |

Questions about A/C and heating
Why does my car A/C blow warm air?
The most common cause is low refrigerant from a leak. A failed compressor, cooling fan or blend door can do the same thing. We test the system before recharging so we fix the actual cause.
Can't you just recharge it?
We can, but if the system is leaking the cold air won't last. We test for leaks first so you only pay for a recharge once.
Why does my car take so long to heat up?
Usually a thermostat stuck open, low coolant, air in the cooling system or a clogged heater core. All four are things we check before quoting a repair.
How often should I replace my cabin air filter?
Most manufacturers recommend every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, and sooner if you drive dusty or gravel roads. A clogged filter weakens airflow and can cause a musty smell.
